About Dan
Devoted to God’s word . . .
As a Christian, author Dan Celentano has walked his talk. He has dedicated most of his adult life to helping at-risk teens, especially in inner city environments, to become productive contributors to our society. He’s been the recipient of Minnesota’s Governor’s Award for his service to our at-risk youth, and is the founder of Operation Aware which has since expanded to over 200 cities nation wide. He was also the founder of Up to You, a program dedicated, for more than 30 years, to helping at-risk inner-city New York teens.
Dan did not collect the six-figure salaries of the CEOs that you see in big charitable organizations today. He used all of his own resources as well as the donations from people around the country to fund his programs. Dan is the author of four books and continues to make himself available as a mentor.
As a devout Christian, he’s had a passion to learn more about God’s Word and has spent the last thirty-five years studying biblical text back through the Greek and Hebrew translations. He shares some of his fascinating biblical discoveries in “Ten Biblical Mysteries Most Pastors Don’t Talk About.”
